Connect Kids Kindergarten in Montmorency provides a high quality Pre-Prep Program conducted by a qualified primary school Teacher/Kindergarten Teacher, with 15 hours of free Kindergarten Program per week.
Via our Pre-Prep Program we offer the Montmorency community a service that forms the cornerstone of future learning and development for our children.
A Pre-Prep Program is an important milestone for your child’s development. It will help children learn skills that become a foundation for future learning and life skills.

At Pre-Prep, we focus on developing the children’s:

Our program includes the following elements:
1. Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Framework
SEL focuses on the social and emotional development in young children to assist with developing healthy identities, feeling and showing empathy, establishing relationships and achieving personal goals.
Our program will focus on the following areas:
- Self-awareness
- Self-management
- Relationship skills
- Social awareness
- Responsible decision-making

2. Early learning Languages Australia (ELLA) Program
ELLA is an Australian Government initiative which inspires children by driving a genuine interest in a new language and culture.
The program provides all children with an opportunity to learn a language other than English to increase cognitive advantages. Learning a second language has proven to develop a better understand of English.
Other benefits include an interest in other cultures and ideas, this provides exposure to the world and allows them to become accustomed to our multi-cultural society.
At present, our program focuses on the Hindi language. Our method of teaching includes exposing children to the language via games, songs, stories, dancing and role-play.
We welcome suggestions for other languages you wish to be included in our program.

3. Little Learner’s Love Literacy (LLLL) Program:
LLLL uses an evidence based approach providing the children with seven stages to learn and apply their literacy skills.
Stages 1-4 focus on children learning the sounds of the alphabet, reading and spelling words
Stages 4-6 focus on blending and segmenting adjacent consonants and syllabification.
Stage 7 focuses on children learning the vowel code, more morphology, suffixes and associated spelling rules.
Our program provides the right tools and resources to encourages all children to become confident readers, writers and spellers. Our materials will make learning fun and engaging for all children.
